The Department of commerce has been providing quality education since 2017. Currently there are more than 300 students pursuing their B.Com degree. The department believes in student centered teaching such as case studies, field visit and project works. Remedial classes are also organizes for the deserving students. Activities which have been performed in the Academic Year 2019-20 by the department are mentioned below.

Visit to Model Career Center formally known as Employment Exchange and students register themselves on the government portal and also appeared psychometric test to know the career prospects under the guidance of Project Director Shri Prafulla Das .
